Ty Mawr proposal decision:

Ty Mawr Llanfairpwll - approximate location of site comprising 60 acres.
[1]

5th December 2008 - Daily Post - Anglesey's Ty Mawr business complex rejected by council

The proposal was rejected by Full Council by 15 votes to 14 but as the proposal was heard under Planning & Orders Committee Rules and the application was a "departure" rejecting the Councils officers recommendations then following a months' cooling off period the application will reappear before Full Council again in January 2009

We urge you to sign the below petition forcing Anglesey Council to rethink its' strategy and consult taxpayers in an island wide survey to consider retail centres and businesses.

The behaviour of The Welsh Assembly Government and Anglesey Councils' officers pre-supposes that "there are no other suitable sites on the Island" which is clearly not the case.

There are four candidate sites for employment in Anglesey, Ty Mawr Llanfairpwll is only one of them but conveniently the ownership is controlled by The Welsh Assembly Government.

To OPPOSE Ty Mawr providing a chance to secure a proposal in Llangefni on two or three different sites identified:
