Apartment conversion works commence in Llangefni.
Works have commenced at 8 Church Street, Llangefni in the conversion of the upper and rear storeys of what was once the premises occupied by National Westminster Bank in Llangefni.
The upper floors were latterly occupied by The Royal British Legion Club (Llangefni) branch until their relocation to adjacent ground floor prmises (with disabled access) on the bridge-link. The British Legion are delighted with their move.
On site strip-out and internal demolition works commenced on 24th May 2007 on a contract let to a local building company.
Planning permission was granted to convert the premises into five one bed apartments. The ground floor retail units are unaffected.
