Outline planning sought in Llangefni
StMalo submitted planning application 34C553A and 34C553/SCR to Anglesey Council on 25th January 2007
The StMalo (Llangefni) Limited outline application is on 13.223 acres of poor quality agriculture land on Talwrn Road for 180 units in a phased development plus an "Extra Care" facility which is the “golden egg” component and is the proposed community benefit. The Extra Care is to be built and operated by Clwyd Alun Housing Association with the land sold to them on long lease for this purpose. It will provide "warden assistance" in a development of accommodation for over 60's only - bridging the gap between citizens unable to cope on their own at home and those in care homes.
