Anglesey Council, Coleg Menai & StMalo sign co-operation agreement
A little earlier today, Anglesey Council and Coleg Menai's Tripartite agreement with Bob Parry & Co Limited was completed together with the lawyers signing off of a "The Consent Order" essentially switching off Bob Parry & Co Limited's Judicial Review of Planning Application 34LPA850cc.
This agreement enables the 34LPA850cc permission to stand (as a valid permission) for a new school, new integrated centre new nursery new infrastructure plus 3.5 acres of housing providing the new roundabout is built in no other location than that agreed with Bob Parry & Co Limited, with spur off into our 13.223 acres of Ty'n Coed (potential housing) land.
Permission will be sought for the new roundabout by delagated powers and the EIA process will be completed to fully comply with planning law.
The roundabout cost will be funded a third each with a deferred payment from Bob Parry & Co Limited paid only when its land is granted a permission for any use other than agricultural or permitted development.
The new roundabout position requires Coleg Menai to be compensated by Bob Parry & Co Limited for the loss of a small area of the 3.5 acres of housing land, through moving the roundabout to our preferred position.
The 17m spur into our Ty'n Coed land will be fully serviced, thereby making the land "development ready". Coleg Menai will be able to proceed with its new £4M "construction centre of excellence" cross funded by proceeds generated throught the housing permission given on 3.5 acre holding.
The foregoing agreement paves the way for future co-operation and understanding between the three parties.
