StMalo acquire land south of Ala Road, Pwllheli

Land South of Ala Road and East of Cardiff Road, Pwllheli comprising 40 acres. Proposals are for retail food and non-food uses, relief road, nature reserve and bird sanctuary. There are 15-18 acres developable from the 40 acres. [1] [2] [3] [4]

40 acres of land next to Pwllheli town centre have been secured for future mixed-use development. The land is located between Ala road and Cardiff Road and provides new development and town centre expansion for Pwllheli which is very constrained. The local population currently shop for bulky goods in Bangor and Llandudno hence this site provides the local answer. Of the 40 acres about 15 acres is developable with the remaining land set asside for conservation. StMalo wish to have the land included in the Gwynedd Local Development Plan for development.
