StMalo proposals scaled-down
Following residents' concerns voiced by Councillor John Arthur Jones, StMalo have scaled down their planning application proposals on "infill" land at Ty'n Coed from 180 dwellings plus 50 unit Extra Care down to 139 dwellings plus 50 Unit Extra Care in a phased development.(Photo1)
Anglesey Councils' planning department request for: i) Planning support statement ii) Welsh Language Assessment iii) Indicative Layout iv) Landscape and Design Assessment v) Ecological Assessment vi) Traffic Assessment vii) Drainage Information viii) Trees and Hedgerows survey have been generated by the firm's external consultants and provided to Anglesey Council for evaluation.
Surface water drainage and foul water drainage issues are being resolved with Welsh Water Dwr Cymru and The Environment Agency.

It is anticipated the application could be heard by The Planning & Orders Committe of Anglesey Council in March 2008 if drainage issues are satisfactorily resolved.
The proposal provides much needed starter homes, local construction jobs and supplies of building materials through local sources - essential for Anglesey's economy.
