Rhiannon E Walker, OBE

Rhiannon Walker was appointed non-executive director of Bob Parry & Company Limited on 14th Januaary 2010

Rhiannon is qualified solicitor and started her career with North Wales solicitors.

Rhiannon is a Welsh speaker, Welsh being her family language. She was head of the legal department and company secretary for Redrow plc and Company Director of Redrow Homes Limited. As such, she was responsible for large property transactions, complex planning agreements and options for long term land. She saw Redrow through their flotation to the FTSE 250.

She sits on the Welsh circuit as a Deputy District Judge and is also President of "Special Education Needs Tribunal" for Wales. In 2008 she was awarded an OBE for her work in the Tribunal and for the people of North Wales.

Rhiannon is a trustee of the Morgan Foundation, a charitable foundation which gives donations to people in the North Wales and North West region (of up to one million pounds per year).

She is also a Director and Company Secretary of her family companies, which employs some 100 staff.
In her spare time, Rhiannon enjoys skiing, tennis, walking, yoga, Pilates and spending time with her family.
